Today, we’ve been working with Richard Anderson from the CLC and Paul Porter from Wolverhampton Local Authority to create a podcast on historic events from July and August. Here are the events that we chose:

  • The first landing on the moon in 1969
  • The discovery of Anne Frank by Nazi troops
  • England’s victory in the World Cup Final 1966

We really hope you enjoy the podcast. Remember to submit comments by clicking on the podcast title above and filling in the comment form.

You guys absolutely rocked man! I loved the countdown for the rocket and Jake sounded as if he really was on the moon. Was he?
I learned more in 10 minutes than I did in my whole time at secondary school.
You dudes have all got a future as tv presenters on CBBC!

I really enjoyed listening to your podcast, i think the sound tracks were terific! You chose the right track for the things you were talking about, so if it was sad, it would be smooth music , but if it was happy then it would be jolly music. You spoke clearly and i understood every word you said. Well done! It was very amusing!
