Brain in JarYear 8 and Year 9 students from Heath Park, Wednesfield High, Moseley Park and St. Edmunds have spent today creating a podcast to help their classmates revise for their Key Stage 3 Science SATs exams next year. The topics covered by the podcast include:

  • Balanced and Unbalanced Forces
  • The Energy Transfer to a bulb in a circuit
  • Elements, Compounds and Mixtures
  • The Structure of the Cell

The students had to research, plan, record and edit the podcast during a 5 hour session at the City Learning Centre.  We hope you agree that they made a really good job of it! Podcasts can be used as a way for learners to explore and express their understanding of almost any curriculum area. Look out for more podcasts from Learning2Go schools in the New Year.

I thought that it was a good idea to put on your mp3 player and then listen to it so it would get stuck in your head bur there is so much more that you would need to know.
