Today, we have been creating a podcast with Year 6 at Long Knowle Primary School. Here are the highlights from their broadcast:
A run-down of educational software and games on the PDA- A description of the rewards system at the school with interviews with the “Pupils of the Week”
- What does the school council do? What is “Huff and Puff”? (a play centre within the school)
- A review of the 50th Anniversary Celebrations for Long Knowle in 2006

Hi, i am an 8th grade student from Dunthorpe, Oregon. I just wanted to say that I really like your podcast, especially the song and the countdown of games - cool voices! I wish we got to use PDAs and make podcasts at our school!

Dear Mr Cowell’s class - what a terrific podcast. I thought the way you used the music stings was really great. Keeping the interviews very short was also an excellent idea. You programme had real pace and kept me interested until the end. Well done.

Hi year 6, the music you used was really catchy and you can tell that it took a lot of hard work to produce. My favourite part was hearing about how long knowle celebrated its 50th anniversary.

I think the podcasts really good, especially the top 5 games. I really like the way that it’s spoken, although i’m not sure I agree.
Overall it was fab!

i think that this is a extremely good. I have one inprovement you could make is to have clearer voices and also hello to you all my name is ireena and i’m from wednesfield primary school. This pod cast rocks. Now that i’ve put a comment why don’t you have a try!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to say welldone to everyone who got an award.
I liked your podcast but when it got to the bit of when people said what they thought about huff&puff they didn’t finish their sentence and it whent on to the other person.

I used to go to Long Knowle. It’s been about 5 years i’ve left yr 6. Anyways, great podcast guys. Well Done!
