St. Jude’s Primary Podcast - Year 6 Blue

Today, we have been supporting St. Jude’s Primary in creating podcasts. Sixty students from Year 6 worked in groups to put together two podcasts. This podcast is from the Year 6 “Blue” class. Highlights of the broadcast include:
- A radio play on the issue of bullying
- A countdown of the top five things about the new St. Jude’s buildings
- A report from the red carpet at the Casino Royale premiere
- A quiz on World War II

I agree with Mr. Whyley - both of the podcasts are excellent. Mr. Porter and I really enjoyed working with you all on Tuesday. To be honest, we were a little worried about podcasting with 60 students at the same time! Your fantastic attitude to the work made it much easier than we had imagined. (I recall that many of you chose to skip morning break to keep working on your sections!) Well done.

A good start, good subjects and confident speaking.Also good links and theme tunes.They have also spaced it out so the whole class has a role.

I think it’s a very good podcast and it is very creative. Although I dissagree with some of the things they said, but I can’t wait to hear more of your podcasts.

I really liked the podcast and the subjects you had in it. I liked the way it was set and the way you produced it and I really enjoyed listening to the music.

I liked your bullying play but I couldn’t hear what the people said because ther was music at the same time and also I think it is unsafe to have infants and juniors on the same play ground.

I think you did really well 6 blue it’s really enjoyable but the thing is you added sound effects that don’t go very well with the volume that you are speaking in.
It’s still very good though and you tried very hard you did intresting things
